We work only with verified, 501(c)(3) registered U.S. nonprofits. We confirm their legal status, delivery address, and operational activity before any campaign goes live.

Yes. All donations made to verified U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofits on Givelink are fully tax-deductible. After checkout, you’ll automatically receive a tax receipt email issued directly by the nonprofit.

Givelink is funded in two ways.

The first is the optional tip that donors can leave during checkout. The preset tip is 10 percent, and donors can increase it, decrease it, or remove it entirely. This tip helps support Givelink’s operations, while 100 percent of the donation goes directly toward the products selected for the nonprofit.

The second source of revenue comes from small product price markups. In the U.S., product prices include an average markup of around 5 percent. This helps cover sourcing, logistics, and delivery coordination so that every donation reaches the nonprofit smoothly and reliably. Different items may have slightly different markups depending on supplier and delivery factors.

This approach supports our operations today and is part of a transitional model. Our long-term goal is to move toward a system where donors pay the exact retail price of every item and Givelink receives no revenue from the donor side. Instead, the platform would be supported through partnerships with product providers, as happens in other regions, where suppliers themselves offer a commission while product prices for donors remain unchanged.
