For nearly six decades GLIDE has been a compassionate anchor in San Francisco’s Tenderloin, standing with the city’s most vulnerable individuals and families who face homelessness, hunger and health crises. GLIDE serves more than 1,000 people every day, 364 days a year, through free daily meals, shelter and housing assistance, health and mental health care, childcare, job training, legal aid, harm reduction and crisis intervention. All services are offered with low or no barriers and with dignity so people are met where they are and can move from surviving to stability.
