Who We Are: Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) is an award-winning nonprofit organization in Alameda County, California that is dedicated to ending mass homelessness, mass incarceration, and community violence.

1000+ Beneficiaries: BOSS serves people experiencing multiple barriers to health and self-sufficiency, including homeless, disabled, low-income, formerly incarcerated, justice system impacted, violence impacted, and other disenfranchised individuals and families.

How We Help: BOSS programs promote health and self-sufficiency -- shelter & housing, education, training & employment, health services, violence intervention, trauma recovery, & other services to provide Love, Safety, Respect, and Belonging.
